As a reseller, you can help your customers secure their websites with SSL certificates. Plesk makes it easy to provision Let's Encrypt certificates across multiple customer domains.
Provisioning SSL for a Single Customer Domain
- Log in to Plesk.
- Go to Domains.
- Find the customer domain.
- Click SSL/TLS Certificates.
- Click Install a free basic certificate provided by Let's Encrypt.
- Select the options (domain, www, webmail).
- Click Get it free.
Provisioning SSL for Multiple Domains at Once
- Go to Domains.
- Select multiple domains using checkboxes.
- Click SSL/TLS Certificates → Secure domains.
- Follow the Let's Encrypt setup wizard.
Important Notes
- Each domain must be publicly accessible and resolving to the server for certificate issuance.
- Let's Encrypt has rate limits — do not attempt to secure more than 50 domains at once.
Troubleshooting
Certificate issuance fails:
- Verify the domain resolves to the correct server IP.
- Check that port 80 is accessible for HTTP validation.
