Monitoring SSL status across all customer domains helps you ensure all websites are properly secured. This guide covers checking SSL status from the reseller panel.

Checking SSL Status

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Go to Domains.
  3. Each domain row shows an SSL status indicator:
    • Secure (green padlock): Valid SSL certificate is installed.
    • Warning (yellow): Certificate is about to expire or has issues.
    • Insecure (red): No SSL certificate or expired certificate.
  4. Click a domain to view certificate details, expiry date, and issuer.

Important Notes

  • Check SSL status regularly — at least once per week.
  • A domain marked as secure does not guarantee it is free of mixed content issues.

Troubleshooting

Some domains show as insecure:

  • The SSL certificate may have expired. Re-issue it via SSL It!.
  • The domain may not be resolving to the server.
