As a reseller, you can configure mail-related settings that affect your customers. This includes enabling or disabling mail features and setting up spam and antivirus protection defaults.
Viewing Mail Settings
- Log in to Plesk.
- Go to Tools & Settings → Mail Server Settings.
- Review the available mail settings.
Configuring Mail Features
- Webmail: Enable Roundcube for customer email access.
- Spam filtering: Enable SpamAssassin server-wide.
- Antivirus: Enable ClamAV or Dr.Web antivirus scanning for incoming mail.
- Greylisting: Enable greylisting to reduce spam (temporarily rejects mail from unknown senders).
- DKIM signing: Enable DomainKeys Identified Mail for outgoing emails.
Important Notes
- Some mail settings are server-wide and may be managed by your hosting provider.
- Individual customers can configure their own mail settings within their plan permissions.
Troubleshooting
"Mail Server Settings" is not visible:
- Your hosting provider manages mail settings at the server level. Contact support.
