As a reseller, you can configure mail-related settings that affect your customers. This includes enabling or disabling mail features and setting up spam and antivirus protection defaults.

Viewing Mail Settings

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Go to Tools & SettingsMail Server Settings.
  3. Review the available mail settings.

Configuring Mail Features

  • Webmail: Enable Roundcube for customer email access.
  • Spam filtering: Enable SpamAssassin server-wide.
  • Antivirus: Enable ClamAV or Dr.Web antivirus scanning for incoming mail.
  • Greylisting: Enable greylisting to reduce spam (temporarily rejects mail from unknown senders).
  • DKIM signing: Enable DomainKeys Identified Mail for outgoing emails.

Important Notes

  • Some mail settings are server-wide and may be managed by your hosting provider.
  • Individual customers can configure their own mail settings within their plan permissions.

Troubleshooting

"Mail Server Settings" is not visible:

  • Your hosting provider manages mail settings at the server level. Contact support.
