When a customer wants to upgrade or downgrade, you can change their service plan. This guide covers switching plans on a subscription.
Changing a Customer Plan
- Log in to Plesk.
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription.
- Click Change Plan.
- Select the new plan.
- Click OK.
The subscription updates immediately. If the new plan has fewer resources, existing data is not deleted — the customer simply cannot add more.
Important Notes
- If the subscription is locked, unlock or sync it first.
- Consider the impact of downgrading on the customer current usage.
Troubleshooting
"Subscription is locked" error:
- Click Sync on the subscription, then retry the plan change.
