You may need to change the IP address assigned to a subscription if you have multiple IPs available or need to move a customer to a different IP. This guide covers changing subscription IP settings.
Changing the IP Address
- Log in to Plesk.
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Click the subscription name.
- Click Change Hosting Settings in the right sidebar.
- Under IP address, select the new IP from the dropdown.
- Click OK.
Important Notes
- The new IP address must be available on the server and assigned to your reseller account.
- DNS records may need to be updated to point to the new IP.
- SSL certificates are tied to IP addresses in some configurations — verify SSL after changing.
Troubleshooting
Only one IP available in the dropdown:
- Contact your hosting provider to assign additional IPs to your reseller account.
