You may need to change the IP address assigned to a subscription if you have multiple IPs available or need to move a customer to a different IP. This guide covers changing subscription IP settings.

Changing the IP Address

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Go to Subscriptions.
  3. Click the subscription name.
  4. Click Change Hosting Settings in the right sidebar.
  5. Under IP address, select the new IP from the dropdown.
  6. Click OK.

Important Notes

  • The new IP address must be available on the server and assigned to your reseller account.
  • DNS records may need to be updated to point to the new IP.
  • SSL certificates are tied to IP addresses in some configurations — verify SSL after changing.

Troubleshooting

Only one IP available in the dropdown:

  • Contact your hosting provider to assign additional IPs to your reseller account.
