Setting expiration dates on subscriptions controls how long a customer has access to their hosting resources. When a subscription expires, Plesk automatically suspends it. This guide covers setting and managing expiration dates.
Setting an Expiration Date
- Log in to Plesk.
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Click the subscription name.
- Click Customize.
- Go to the Resources tab.
- Find the Validity period field.
- Select a specific date or choose Unlimited for no expiry.
- Click Update & Lock.
Renewing an Expired Subscription
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Click the expired subscription.
- Click Activate.
- Click Customize → set a new expiration date → Update & Lock.
Important Notes
- Expired subscriptions are automatically suspended by Plesk.
- Activating an expired subscription without updating the expiry date will result in re-suspension the next day.
Troubleshooting
Subscription expired but customer needs it urgently:
- Activate it immediately and set a new expiration date.
