Setting expiration dates on subscriptions controls how long a customer has access to their hosting resources. When a subscription expires, Plesk automatically suspends it. This guide covers setting and managing expiration dates.

Setting an Expiration Date

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Go to Subscriptions.
  3. Click the subscription name.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Go to the Resources tab.
  6. Find the Validity period field.
  7. Select a specific date or choose Unlimited for no expiry.
  8. Click Update & Lock.

Renewing an Expired Subscription

  1. Go to Subscriptions.
  2. Click the expired subscription.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. Click Customize → set a new expiration date → Update & Lock.

Important Notes

  • Expired subscriptions are automatically suspended by Plesk.
  • Activating an expired subscription without updating the expiry date will result in re-suspension the next day.

Troubleshooting

Subscription expired but customer needs it urgently:

  • Activate it immediately and set a new expiration date.
